How to Add Itinerary Items in Bulk

You can add multiple itinerary items to a proposal from a Google Sheet menu. Select the items you need, validate them, and add them to the itinerary slide at once.

Open the bulk-add menu

1. Open the itinerary slide.
2. Click Add item.
3. Select Multi items.

The bulk-add dialog displays the itinerary items available in the selected menu. Use the search field to filter items by title.

• If no items match, the message No results found for 'query' appears.
• Select or clear the checkbox next to an item to include or exclude it.
• Only checked items are validated and added.

Manage the itinerary item menu

Each Workspace board has one Google Sheet, and each tab in that sheet represents a separate menu.

1. Select a menu from the menu dropdown.
2. To edit the menu, click Edit menu or the green icon beside the menu selector.
3. Make your changes in the Google Sheet, then return to the bulk-add dialog.
4. Click Refresh Menu to load the latest items.

Refreshing erases unsaved edits made in the dialog. Items are not added or saved until you click Add selected items.

The Google Sheet file uses this naming format:

Add the selected items

1. Select the items you want to add.
2. Review and complete the editable fields, including the title, description, link text, and link URL.
3. Click Add selected items.

The same validation rules used when adding a single item apply to bulk additions. Title and description are mandatory. If the description is empty in the Google Sheet, the title is copied into the description automatically.

When the items are added successfully, Proposaly displays a message such as:

X itinerary items added successfully!

Limits and validation

• An itinerary slide can contain up to 50 items.
• A Google Sheet menu can contain up to 200 items.
• If a bulk addition exceeds the slide limit, Proposaly shows how many more items can fit.
• If the slide is already full, adding a single item is also blocked.
• Editable fields are marked in blue.
• The bulk-add list supports scrolling for large menus.

Common questions

Can I add more than 50 itinerary items to one slide?

No. The maximum is 50 itinerary items per slide.

What happens if some selected items are invalid?

Validation runs only on checked items, using the same rules as the single-item dialog. Complete the required fields and correct the link text or link URL before adding them.

Does refreshing save my changes?

No. Refresh Menu removes unsaved edits made in the bulk-add dialog. Changes made directly in the Google Sheet must be refreshed before they appear in the dialog.
