When to use this feature
Use a "Custom" slide when you need to:
- Design a slide layout manually
- Place elements freely on a canvas
- Combine headings, text, bullets, and media in one slide
- Preview the slide before sharing the Document
Step-by-step instructions
- In the Business Portal, go to Menu → Workspaces, open the Document you want to edit, and select "Presentation".
- Click "+ Add".
- Select "Custom" from the slide type menu.

- On the new "Custom 1" slide, choose "Device" and "Canvas grid" if needed. Use "Snap to grid" to align elements while moving them.

- Drag elements from the toolbar into the canvas:
- "Title"
- "Subtitle"
- "Text"
- "Bullets"
- "Media"
- Move and resize elements on the canvas. To style selected elements, use the arrow button.
- Click "View slide" to review the slide.
Notes & limitations
- "Custom" is available as a slide type in "Presentation".
- "Media" supports uploaded images in JPG, PNG, and WebP formats.
- Maximum image upload size is 50MB.
- Custom slide layouts keep fixed positioning, sizing, layering, rotation, and styling when viewed.
- On mobile, the slide scales down without distortion.
- Print/PDF output keeps the slide layout and object positions.
- Undo/redo is supported for up to 20 actions.
Troubleshooting
Q: I do not see "Custom" in the slide type menu.
A: Open "Presentation", click "+ Add", then look for "Custom". If it is still missing, the access requirement is contact admin.
Q: My image will not upload.
A: Use JPG, PNG, or WebP. The maximum upload size and exact error message are .
Q: My objects are not aligning.
A: Turn on "Snap to grid" and adjust "Canvas grid" if needed.
Q: How do I know my Custom slide was saved?
A: It is auto saved
Q: Can I undo changes?
A: Yes. Custom slides support undo/redo for up to 20 actions. The exact undo/redo UI labels by click ctrl + Z.
