Short summary
Use the Table slide type to add structured table content to a Presentation. You can create a table manually, import a Google Sheet, or generate/enrich one with AI.
When to use this feature
Use a table when you need to show structured data in a Presentation, such as:
- Pricing comparisons
- Feature lists
- Timelines
- Reports
- Metrics or summaries

Step-by-step instructions
- In the Business Portal, open Workspaces → open a document
- Open the Presentation section of the Document.
- Click "Add slide" and choose the Table slide type.
- Use the table slide controls to add a title, text, table style, and table data.

- Under "Table style", choose whether to show "Header" and "Footer".
- Open "Data source" and choose how to create the table:
- "Manual Entry" to create and edit the table directly in the slide.
- "Google Sheets" to create and sync a linked Google Sheet.
- Use "AI enricher" to generate or enrich the table with AI.
- For "Manual Entry", select the table size in the dialog, then click "Apply". The table appears with the selected rows and columns.
- For "Google Sheets", Proposaly opens a new blank Google Sheet in a new tab. Add your data in Google Sheets, return to Proposaly, then click "Refresh Data" to sync it.
- Use "Edit Sheet" to reopen the linked Google Sheet.
- Use "View slide" to preview the slide.
Notes & limitations
- Tables can have up to 10 columns and 25 rows.
- Google Sheets tables are view-only in the slide. Edit the data in Google Sheets, then click "Refresh Data".
- Google Sheets data does not sync automatically.
- Manual tables can be edited directly in the slide.
- Each manual table cell supports up to 300 characters.
- If you delete a filled table or switch its data source, Proposaly asks you to confirm.
- "Delete Table" resets the table to a 4×4 default table.
Troubleshooting
Q: Why is the Google Sheets table preview blank?
A: Click "Refresh Data". The preview stays blank until the first sync.
Q: How do I edit a Google Sheets table?
A: Click "Edit Sheet", make changes in Google Sheets, then return to Proposaly and click "Refresh Data".
Q: Why can’t I add more rows or columns?
A: The maximum table size is 10 columns × 25 rows.
Q: What happens if I click "Cancel" in the manual table size dialog?
A: Proposaly creates a default 4×4 table.
Q: What confirmation appears before deleting a filled table?
A: "Are you sure you want to delete the table?" Choose "Delete" or "Cancel".
