AI reply suggestions help you respond faster to Messages and Team Comments in a Document. You can send a suggestion as-is, edit it first, review another option, or ignore it and write your own reply.
Open a Suggested Reply
- In the Business Portal, open the Workspace and select the Document you want to work on.
- Open the Activity feed.
- Select the incoming Message or Team Comment you want to answer.
- If a suggestion is available, the Respond to recipient panel shows a Suggested reply card.

Use or Edit the Reply
In the Suggested reply card, you can choose from these actions:
- Use this: sends the suggested reply as written.
- Edit: places the draft in the Message field so you can change it before selecting Send.
- Dismiss: hides the suggestion for that message. You can still reply manually.
If you start typing in Message, Send becomes the main action instead of Use this.
Review Another Option
If you want a different draft:
- Select Suggest another.
- Wait while Proposaly loads another pre-generated option.
- In Select a reply, review the alternatives.
- Select Use this to send one right away, or select Edit to customize it first.
