Use AI summary for Agreements

Short summary

Use "AI summary" to generate a concise summary of an Agreement or Add-on Agreement without leaving the document view.

When to use this feature

Use "AI summary" when you want to quickly review:

• Key Agreement points
• Business terms
• Payment terms
• Responsibilities
• Next steps

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open the Agreement or Add-on Agreement you want to review.
2. Select "AI summary" from the Agreement actions.

3. Wait while Proposaly generates the summary.

4. Review the "Agreement Summary (✦ AI-Generated)" dialog. You can select and copy the summary text.

5. Select "Close" to return to the Agreement.

Notes & limitations

• A new AI summary is generated each time you select "AI summary".
• Summary text is selectable and copyable.
• On mobile Agreement views, "AI summary" appears between "Preview" and "Download".
• On desktop Agreement views, the action order is "Preview", "AI summary", "Download".
• Selecting "Download" opens options for the Agreement, not the AI summary.

Troubleshooting

Q: I selected "AI summary" and only see a loading message. What should I do?

A: Wait for the summary to finish generating. The dialog shows progress while Proposaly reads and summarizes the Agreement.

Q: Can I download the AI summary?

A: No. The "Download" option is for the Agreement. You can select and copy the AI summary text.

Q: Why did the AI summary change after I selected "AI summary" again?

A: Proposaly generates a new AI summary each time you select "AI summary".

Q: I do not see "AI summary". Where should it appear?

A: It appears in supported Agreement and Add-on Agreement views. On mobile and desktop Agreement views, it appears between "Preview" and "Download".
