Use AI Summary to generate a quick summary of a Proposal in the Business Portal. It shows what the Proposal is about, recent activity, deal health, and what to do next.
Open AI Summary
- In the Business Portal, open the Workspace and select the Proposal.
- Open AI Summary from one of these places:
- the Proposal 3 dots menu
- the right sidebar under Control
- Wait while the summary is generated. During loading, you may see Generating summary....
Review the Summary
The Proposal summary (AI-Generated) dialog includes these sections:
- Overview — a short description of the Proposal
- Deal health — a label such as Hot, Warm, Cold, or Needs attention
- Activity summary — recent views, comments, messages, signatures, or payments
- Recommended next actions — up to 3 suggested follow-up steps
You may also see Send message and Add comment at the bottom of the dialog.
Notes and Limits
- AI Summary is available for a single Proposal.
- You must have permission to view the Proposal to use it.
- The summary is generated on demand.
- If nothing important changed since the last summary, Proposaly may show a cached result.
- If new activity exists, you can use Refresh to generate an updated summary.
- The summary is AI-generated and should be used as guidance only.
- AI Summary does not send messages or edit the Proposal for you.
Common Questions
Why can’t I use AI Summary?
You need permission to view the Proposal. Company or Workspace permissions may also limit access.
Why is the summary not updating?
If no important changes happened since the last summary, Proposaly may reuse the cached version. If new activity exists, use Refresh.
What if the summary cannot be generated?
You’ll see this message:
We could not generate an AI summary right now. Please try again in a few minutes.
Why is AI Summary temporarily unavailable?
The feature has usage limits. If you hit a limit, wait a few minutes and try again.
