Manage Offers & add-ons in a Proposal

Short summary

Use "Offers & add-ons" to add selectable pricing items to a Proposal. You can create multi-select Add-ons, single-select Offers, add media, organize items by category, or generate items with AI.

When to use this feature

Use this feature when you want recipients to:

• Choose optional Add-ons.
• Select one Offer from a group.
• View pricing items grouped by category in the Client Portal.
• See images or videos attached to offer items.

Step-by-step instructions

1. In the Business Portal, go to Menu → Workspaces, open the Proposal Document, then select "+ Add-ons" in the Proposal sidebar.

1. In "Group title", enter the Offer Group name.

1. In "Group type", choose how recipients can select items:

• Select "Add-ons (multiple choice)" for multi-select Add-ons.

1. Select "+ Item" to add an item.

1. To generate items with AI, choose "Generate with AI", then complete the form:

• Add at least one "Website URL" or "Prompt or Description".
• Choose "Type".
• Enter "Number of Add-ons to Generate".
• Select "Generate".

1. For each item, add its details:

• Description, up to 1,000 characters.
• Image or video using drag and drop or browse.
• Optional "Category".

1. To create a category, select "+ Add Category", enter "Category Name", then assign items to that category.

1. To remove a category, use "Delete Category".

1. Select "+ Add offer group" to create another Offer Group, or select "Next" → "Payment terms" to continue.

Notes & limitations

• Description fields support up to 1,000 characters.
• The media field supports both images and videos.
• "Category" is optional and blank by default.
• If any Add-on has a category, items are grouped into separate slides by category in the Client Portal.
• Item Type is managed at the category level, not per item.

Troubleshooting

Q: Why can’t I generate Add-ons with AI?

A: Add at least one "Website URL" or "Prompt or Description", then select "Generate". 

Q: Why don’t recipients see category slides?

A: At least one Add-on must have a category assigned. If no Add-on has a category, category grouping is not shown.

Q: Why can’t I set Item Type on an individual item?

A: Item Type is managed at the category level, not per item.
