Short summary
Proposal Settings are organized into tabs so you can manage appearance, information, configuration, and standards in one place.
When to use this feature
Use Proposal Settings when you need to update:
- Proposal appearance, such as language, display mode, font, visual library, or buttons color
- Proposal, Agreement, or Presentation type
- Proposal contact information
- Expiration date settings
Step-by-step instructions
- In the Business Portal, open Workspaces and select a Proposal.
- In the Proposal sidebar, select "Settings".

- Use the tabs to switch between "Appearance", "Information", "Configuration", and "Standards".
- In "Appearance", update the available design settings:
- "Language"
- "Display mode"
- "Font"
- "Visual library"
- "Buttons color"
- In "Information", select the needed type for "Proposal type", "Agreement type", or "Presentation type".
- If you select "Other", enter the custom name in the text box shown to the right of the selector.
- In "Information", update the contact information:
- "Email address"
- "Phone"
- "Accounting email address"
- In "Configuration", choose the expiration date:
- "7 Days"
- "14 Days"
- "30 Days"
- "60 Days"
- "Custom date"
- "No expiration"
- If you choose "Custom date", select a future date.
Notes & limitations
- "No expiration" is the default expiration setting.
- "Custom date" only supports future dates.
- "Email address" and "Phone" are required.
- Selecting "Other" shows a text box for entering a custom type name.
- Proposal contact information is copied from the Company setting contact info.
- Proposal contact information is used in the Proposal, including the Agreement.
Troubleshooting
Q: I selected "Other" but do not see a text box.
A: The text box appears only when "Other" is selected for "Proposal type", "Agreement type", or "Presentation type".
Q: I cannot select a past date for "Custom date".
A: "Custom date" is restricted to future dates only.
Q: Why is my Proposal expired?
A: The expiration is based on the selected expiration setting and the Proposal share timing. "No expiration" keeps the Proposal not expired.
