Control price quote visibility in a Proposal

Short summary

Use "Price quote visibility" to control when the price quote summary appears in the Client Portal right sidebar for a Proposal.

When to use this feature

Use this setting when you want to:

• Show pricing as soon as a recipient opens the Proposal.
• Reveal pricing only after the recipient reaches the price quote slide.
• Keep the price quote summary hidden in the right sidebar.

Step-by-step instructions

1. In the Business Portal, go to Workspaces and open the Proposal.

1. Select "Settings" in the right sidebar.

1. Open the "Configuration" tab.

1. In "Document basics", open the "Price quote visibility" dropdown.

1. Choose one option:

• "Show from the start"
• "Show after price quote slide"
• "Never show"

1. Save the Proposal settings

Notes & limitations

• "Show from the start" is the default option.
• This setting controls the price quote summary in the Client Portal right sidebar.
• "Show after price quote slide" reveals the summary only after the recipient reaches the price quote slide.
• "Never show" keeps the price quote summary hidden for the session.

Troubleshooting

Q: I do not see the price quote summary when previewing the Proposal.

A: Check the "Price quote visibility" setting. If it is set to "Show after price quote slide", go to the price quote slide first. If it is set to "Never show", the summary stays hidden.

Q: Which option shows pricing immediately?

A: Select "Show from the start".

Q: Which option hides pricing completely from the right sidebar?

A: Select "Never show".
