- Company-level settings are used as defaults when no more specific notification settings exist.
- For team members, more specific settings can override company defaults.
- For recipients, recipient-specific settings can override company defaults.
- "WhatsApp only (not recommended)" does not use SMS fallback if delivery fails.
Troubleshooting
Why are my company defaults not being used for a team member?
A more specific notification setting may exist. For team members, the priority is workspace level, then user level, then company level.
Why are my company defaults not being used for a recipient?
A recipient-specific notification setting may exist. Recipient settings override company recipient settings.
Can I turn off email notifications?
No. "Email" is always on.
Why did a phone message go by SMS instead of WhatsApp?
If your phone setting is "WhatsApp with SMS fallback (recommended)", Proposaly tries WhatsApp first and uses SMS if WhatsApp is not supported or the message is undelivered.
