Set the privacy policy link shown in the Client Portal footer. Use the standard Proposaly-hosted policy or add your own custom URL.
When to use this feature
Use this when you want recipients to access your Company privacy policy from the Client Portal.
Step-by-step instructions
In the Business Portal, go to Menu → Company → Settings.

Scroll to "Privacy policy*" in the Settings page.

Select "Standard" to use the Proposaly-hosted privacy policy. The "Privacy policy URL" field is not editable.
Select "View" to preview the standard privacy policy in a new browser tab.

To use your own policy, select "Custom".
Enter the URL in "Privacy policy URL". The URL must start with "https://" or "http://".
Enter the link to save the setting.
Notes & limitations
The privacy policy link appears in the Client Portal footer on desktop and mobile.
The link is not shown in the Client Portal header or sidebar.
"Custom" requires a valid URL.
"Standard" uses a Proposaly-hosted policy and cannot be edited from the URL field.
Selecting the privacy policy link opens it in a new browser tab.
Dynamic values are added before the policy is displayed when applicable.
Troubleshooting
Q: Why can’t I edit the "Privacy policy URL" field?
A: The field is not editable when "Standard" is selected. Select "Custom" to enter your own URL.
Q: Why can’t I save my custom URL?
A: The URL must start with "https://" or "http://".
Q: Where will recipients see the privacy policy link?
A: Recipients see it in the Client Portal footer.
Q: What confirmation appears after saving?
A: None
