Troubleshooting
Why do I see Help instead of AI Assistant?
Help is shown if any of these apply:
- You are not logged in.
- You do not have permission to use chat.
- AI Assistance is disabled in the document settings.
I am logged in but cannot use chat. Why?
Your permission to use chat may be restricted. The specs mention an example of users who are not "Editor", but the exact permission rule is {{missing_data}}.
Why is my answer generic instead of specific to this Document?
AI Assistant uses the current Document first. If no document-specific data is available, it uses general help content.
Can I search inside Help?
Yes. Use "Search questions" in the Help dialog.
