Use Smart pricing in Price quote and Add-ons

Short summary

Use "✨ Smart pricing" to review AI pricing suggestions for your line items based on a target country and pricing strategy, then apply the updates you want before saving.

When to use this feature

Use this feature when you want to:

• compare your current item prices against the market
• adjust prices for a specific country
• position prices as entry-level, below market, standard, above market, or premium

You can use "✨ Smart pricing" in:

• "Price quote"
• "Add-ons" for non-agreement add-ons only

Step-by-step instructions

1. In the Business Portal, open Workspaces → Proposal→ "Price quote" or "Add-ons".

1. Click "✨ Smart pricing".

1. In "Smart pricing", review "Target country". It is preselected automatically, and you can change it.

1. Under "Your pricing strategy", select one option:

• "Entry-level"
• "Below market"
• "Standard"
• "Above market"
• "Premium"

1. Click "✨ Analyze prices".

1. Wait for the analysis to finish. While it runs, the dialog is locked.

1. In step 2, review each item:

• check the market status
• compare "Current" and "Suggested"
• edit the suggested price if needed

1. Click "Update" on each item you want to change. The item changes to "Updated", and its tag changes to "Market aligned".

1. Click "Done (n updated)" to save all updated prices. When the wizard closes, you see "{n} item prices updated successfully."

Notes & limitations

• "Target country" is auto-detected and can be changed manually.
• Prices are not updated automatically. You must click "Update" for each item.
• Your changes apply only after you click "Done (n updated)".
• "Back" cancels the current run and returns you to the strategy step.
• "Undo (n updates)" reverts all updates made in the current run.
• Agreement-bound add-ons are not included.
• Suggestions are based on the base price before discount.
• The current price used for suggestions is the per-item price, not the total line item price.

Troubleshooting

Why can't I use Smart pricing for some add-ons?

"✨ Smart pricing" does not apply to agreement-bound add-ons.

Why didn't my prices change after I clicked "Update"?

Your updates are saved only when you click "Done (n updated)".

What does "Back" do?

"Back" cancels the current progress and returns you to the strategy step.

What does "Undo (n updates)" do?

It reverts all updated items in the current run back to their original prices.

Why is a suggested price field disabled?

After you click "Update" for an item, the suggested field becomes disabled for that item.
